Your guide to promoting leadership in young people
Taking the Lead is an Explorer Scout Leaders resource. It promotes the active participation of young people in the Unit and increases their participation in decision-making processes both locally and nationally. Most importantly it will help them develop lifelong leadership skills.
Packed with practical ideas, games and excercises to help you bring out the best in young people, it covers everything from team building and expedition planning to listening skills, running meetings and managing difficult people.
