Programme and Development Officer, Scotland

Location: Fordell Firs, Fife, Scotland Starting Salary range: £20,500 - £24,500 p.a.
As part of the Scottish Headquarters staff and senior volunteer team of one of the largest voluntary youth organisations in Scotland, you will play a vital role in assisting The Scout Association Scottish Council to realise key development and growth objectives. You will contribute towards development and delivery of quality support services for approximately 36,000 adult volunteers and youth members.
With excellent communication and presentation skills, flair and initiative, you must be able to interact positively with adults and young people. A background in, or detailed knowledge of, the Scout Movement is essential. The closing date for applications is 22 August.

Two Full Time Regional Home-based Development Officers
Post One: City of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot
Post Two: Gwynedd; Isle of Anglesey and Conwy
Salary: £21,372
An interesting and exciting opportunity exists to contribute to the development of young people in Wales. We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and self-motivated people who will initially work in diverse communities in the above areas. The key objective is to recruit adult volunteers and then provide training and initial support.
Previous relevant experience will be an advantage. A full driving licence, willingness to travel and work evenings is essential. The post is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.
