Spiritual development and faiths and beliefs are supported nationally by: The UK Adviser for Diversity; the Faiths and Beliefs Support Team; Faith contacts; and Headquarters staff.

The Faiths and Beliefs Support team:

• Advises The Scout Association on all matters religious, spiritual and moral.

• Directly and actively supports the work of the Programme, Adult Support and Development teams in the area of Faiths and Beliefs

• Maintains contact between the Scout Association and faith communities of the UK.

• The faiths and beliefs support team reports to the UK Adviser for Diversity, who reports to the UK Commissioner for Adult Support, who reports to the Operations Sub-committee.

The UK Adviser for Diversity is Debbie Ladds, and the chair of the Faiths and Beliefs Team is Richard Winslade.
