Camps in UK

Every year, there are a large number of camps held in the UK. Many of the larger camps are open to Scouts (and Guides) from around the world.

"International Opportunities" is a monthly bulletin published by the International Office. The document contains details of all the international camps being held in the UK as well as opportunities for older members to join in camps overseas.

Here is a summary of all the current UK camps in...
2008 and
2009!

Global Explorer

Each year many thousands of Scouts participate in international camps organised at local level. Some camps have a high proportion of international participation. However, some only attract a small number of overseas participants, which makes it more difficult to justify calling the camps international particularly if there are few international activities in the programme.

Global Explorer is a system of recognising good international programming which recognises events which are prepared to promote, prepare for and implement this important aspect of Scouting.
