There are more than 28 million Scouts in 216 countries and territories around the World. At the moment, there are only 6 countries (Andorra, China (PRC), Cuba, North Korea, Laos and Myanmar) without some form of Scouting.

The Commonwealth
The Commonwealth is a unique network of 53 Countries from all continents. It is a 'family' of peoples with a common heritage in language, culture, law and education which operates in an atmosphere of trust often absent from world politics. With 1.8 billion, the Commonwealth comprises about one third of the nations of the world and one quarter of its population.
World Scout Events
World Scout Jamboree
A World Scout Jamboree (for 14 to 18 year olds) takes place every four years. The next World Scout Jamboree will be held in Sweden in 2011.

World Scout Moots

Roverway
Roverway is an international Scouting and Guiding event for the European region for 16 to 22 year olds every three years.
The next Roverway will be held in 2009 in Iceland.
